Volunteers helping rescue dogs

Our mission is to help people during disasters by helping their animals.

NVADG volunteers, in partnership with emergency services, team up to evacuate, rescue and/or shelter-in-place animals at risk. Our volunteers also get out to Safety Fairs, workshops, animal events and community venues to talk to Butte County residents about how to be ready to evacuate with their animals - large and small.

Services & Resources

Become a Volunteer

Volunteers train all year on processes unique to emergency response during disasters. If you are considering volunteering with NVADG we’d love to have you!

Be Ready to Evacuate

Have an evacuation plan for your family and your pets? Disasters can strike at any time. In our area we must be prepared to leave our homes at a moments notice. Do you have a list of the items you’d need?

Donate to NVADG

Donations are gratefully accepted and are tax deductible to the extent provided by law. Thank you for your support of the animals we help during disasters!
